AIRFest 23 Camping Info
Sunflowers Argonia River Park
Argonia's scenic river park overlooking Chikaskia River provides residents and visitors with ample opportunities for fun and recreation. The park has picnic shelter houses, deck, picnic tables, 1/2 mile walking trail (part of the Memorial Walkway - see above) public fishing access and FREE WiFi. The WiFi access can be given to users at the city building once they have signed a form, we will then give the password. The park can be used by the public for camping. Tent camping is allowed. Twenty four hookups accessible restrooms with showers on the campgrounds. The daily fees for camping are below. For more information contact The City of Argonia Offices at 620-435-6553. Due to the high number of long-term campers that we have right now reservations are no longer accepted. Camping spots are on a first come, first served basis.

$15 - RV Full Hookups
$10 - RV Electric/Water
$400 - Monthly rate; Full Hookups
$5 - Tent Sites
$5 - Dump Fee

Directions: From US HWY 160 turn south on Main Street. The River Park is 1/2 mile south of Argonia on the banks of the Chikaskia River.

Camping at the Rocket Pasture
On-site camping is available at the launch site in designated areas only. There is no drinking water, electricity, or waste dumping available for on-site campers. For safety reasons, no fires are permitted directly on the ground at the Rocket Pasture - please use a burn barrel/fire can/grill only.

KLOUDBusters has hosted LDRS at our Argonia, KS launch site: 1993, 1994, 1999, 2003, 2008, & 2011.
KLOUDBusters launches have been featured in TV programs twice: Rocket Challenge in 2003 and LDRS-Large Dangerous Rocket Ships in 2011.
