Due to crops on the east field, KLOUDBusters has imposed a "NO SPARKIES" rule for AIRFest 16.
KLOUDBusters have enjoyed the use of one of the premier Launch Sites in the Heartland of the U.S.A. for over 15 years. This site has hosted Tripoli's national launch LDRS 5 times. The surrounding area is primarily crop land with a few area of cattle grazing range and is quite wide open for several miles.
The waiver for the duration of AIRFest 16 will be 34,500' MSL. All flights over 23,000' require prior approval from the KLOUDBusters Prefect. Contact the KloudBusters prefect for further details. The KLOUDBusters High Altitude application must be completed and submitted at least 30 days in advance for review.

Friday September 3 and Monday September 6, 2010 will be conducted under the Tripoli Research Safety Code. All flyers participating in Friday or Monday launches must be Tripoli members. Level 0 and Level 1 TRA members may launch only commercial motors while those TRA members holding Level 2 or Level 3 certification may fly commercial or Research motors, per the TRA Research Safety code.
The format for each launch day is as follows:
| Day | Format | Description |
| Friday 03-Sep-10 | TRA Research | Flyers must be TRA members, 18 and over |
| Saturday 04-Sep-10 | Commercial | Open launches. Non-members-kids and NAR welcome. |
| Sunday 05-Sep-10 | Commercial | Open launches. Non-members-kids and NAR welcome. |
| Monday 06-Sep-10 | TRA Research | Flyers must be TRA members, 18 and over |
TRA Certification flights at all levels may take place on any of the 4 days of AIRFest 16. There are usually several Prefects on-site for AIRFest, so hunt one up on-site, or contact The KLOUDBUsters Prefect in advance. Level 3 certification candidates should follow the standard TRA Level 3 certification TAP process.
NAR certification flights may take place only on Commercial Launch days (Saturday or Sunday) since NAR-only members are restricted to those launch days. KLOUDBusters is a TRA prefecture, so we don't take responsibility for having the proper NAR certification personnel or paperwork available, although it is usually possible to find NAR members to assist in this capacity.
No fireworks or firearms are permitted at AIRFest 16 or any other KloudBusters launches. In deference to our landowner and surrounding residents, please leave these items at home.
Range hours will be 9:00am to 6:00pm daily.
There will be all popular sizes of launch rods and rails available. Projects with special equipment needs should contact The Prefect to determine availability.
At all KLOUDBusters launches, youth flyers and all flyers flying 'G' impulse and under fly free.
