Welcome to A.I.R. Fest 16 ! ! !
Smoke , Fire, and Noise at the Argonia Rocket Pasture. That's what KLOUDBusters AIRFest 16 – September 3-6, 2010 - is all about.

Flyers Please Note: Due to crops on the east field, KLOUDBusters has imposed a "NO SPARKIES" rule for AIRFest 16.

Rocketry enthusiasts from across the central U.S. have been spending their Labor Day weekends with us for years, and there is no secret why. KLOUDBusters high waiver, and the wide-open spaces of the Kansas prairie offer a superb opportunity for pursuing our hobby, and with the cooler September weather, you can't beat Argonia in September!

The FAA waiver for all 4 days of AIRFest 16 will be 34,500' MSL and as we've seen recently, 30,000' or more can be reached. We expect 2010 to bring out the big boys once again - who will surpass 30,000' in 2010?

The wide open range country that surrounds the all-weather 'Argonia Rocket Pasture' is great for rockets of all shapes and sizes and has been the host site for Tripoli Rocketry Association’s LDRS an unprecedented 5 times (1993, 1994, 1999, 2003 and 2008) with LDRS 30 returning in 2011. You have even seen our launches on TV -- in 2003, KLOUDBusters proudly hosted the Discovery Channel first-ever Rocket Challenge shows from this site.

Saturday and Sunday will be AIRFest 16 Commercial days and all TRA, NAR, and low-power flyers are welcome. On Friday and Monday TRA Research rules will be in effect. All flyers participating in Friday or Monday launches must be Tripoli members. Level 0 and Level 1 TRA members may launch only commercial motors while those TRA members holding Level 2 or Level 3 certification may fly commercial or Research motors, per the TRA Research Safety code.
